Brimer-Lane
Publishing Group
has been a leading third party publisher in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex
since 1973. Unlike the average third party publisher – whose expertise revolves
around ad sales – Brimer-Lane is a creative-based company with core competencies
in every aspect of publication development and management. Founded and managed
by award-winning writer Deb R. Brimer,
Brimer-Lane is proficient in product development, strategic implementation,
editorial quality, marketing and distribution.
Although Brimer-Lane
has published countless products for trade organizations and chambers of
commerce, its most acclaimed third party publication is Metroplex TechnologyMagazine (formerly Telecom Corridor Business
Magazine and Richardson Magazine). With a global readership of tech
professionals, this was the second-largest economic development publication in
the Dallas area
during Brimer-Lane’s 20-year tenure at its helm.
After creating
successful publications for other parties for 33 years, Brimer-Lane entered the
independent publishing market in 2006 by establishing HealthNet Media, its healthcare and fitness brand. And in January
2007, HealthNet Media premiered Mesquite
HealthNet Magazine in the Dallas suburb of Mesquite, Texas.
Brimer-Lane
Publishing Group’s other brand, Brimer-Lane
Communications, provides advertising support and design to Mesquite
HealthNet advertisers as well as creative services and print products to a
diversified client base.
Leadership
Deb R. Brimer Founding Partner, Brimer-Lane Publishing Group Co-Publisher/Editor/Writer, Mesquite HealthNet Magazine
A published writer at 20 and founder of Brimer-Lane at 23, Brimer entered the business arena in an era when young women entrepreneurs were a novelty. Nevertheless, she implemented quality standards at Brimer-Lane that are still unmatched today in third party publishing.
While competitors focused on creating vehicles in which to sell ads, Brimer’s vision has always centered on developing viable mediums that offer value to communities, advertisers and readers alike. Consequently, Brimer’s philosophies for building publications from-the-ground-up have kept Brimer-Lane in the industry forefront for 34 years. And those principles are the vital components of Mesquite HealthNet Magazine.
Deb R. Brimer
As
a veteran writer, Brimer has interviewed some of the world’s most renowned
personalities – from music legend Willie Nelson to Tom Hicks, owner of the
Dallas Stars NHL Hockey Team and Texas Rangers MLB Team, and Jack Kilby,
inventor of the computer chip. Brimer is listed in the Who’s Who of American Women, Who’s
Who in Emerging Leaders and Who’s
Who in Executives and Professionals. In 2000, the International Biographical Centre in Cambridge, England
named Brimer one of the Outstanding Writers of the 20th Century.
